Using this website
The content here is for general information about our services. We keep it accurate and current, but it is not a quote, a contract, or professional advice about your specific property. Do not rely on it as a substitute for having the work looked at.
You may not use this site to attempt to gain unauthorized access, to send automated bulk requests, or for any unlawful purpose.
Estimates and requesting work
- We do not publish prices. Every job is quoted after we have looked at the work.
- Estimates are free and given in writing. An estimate is not binding on either side until we confirm the job and the scope in writing.
- Once a written estimate is agreed, the figure does not move unless you change the scope of the work, or something is found that could not reasonably have been seen at the time of the estimate. If that happens we tell you before carrying on.
- Submitting a request through this site, by phone or by email does not create a contract and does not reserve a date.
- We decline work that requires a license we do not hold, and anything structural. Where the law requires a licensed trade, we bring one in.
SMS Terms
Uncle Sam Handyman LLC runs a text message alert program for the owners and employees of the business. It is an internal operations tool. It is not a marketing program and it is not used to send promotional messages to customers.

- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of any purchase, and it is never shared with third parties.

Our work
Work is carried out by the person who quoted it. We carry general liability insurance, and we bring in licensed trades where the law requires one. If something is wrong with work we have done, tell us and we will come back and put it right.
Payment
Payment is due on completion unless we agree a schedule in writing before the work starts. For longer jobs the schedule is tied to stages of the work, not to dates.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Uncle Sam Handyman LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute is subject to the courts of Bexar County, Texas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the effective date at the top.
